    Bro Charlie,

Actually, I've been too busy finishing up my summations on the millennium thread I'm already working on with Eric and Paul M, but I'll be done with that fairly soon, and then, if you can find an area I have not discussed already on my prophecy web-pages (I hope you've seen them), then, yes I might be interested if it seems like a topic that will be an addition to what I've already written.

    Blessings again, - Pastor Totten

    Dear Pastor Rhett:

    Thank you for your message.

As you must realize I am not an amill but a premill and, as such, I am not allowed to reply to your posts on the thread you have been using.

    My email address is: humebaker@cox.net.

When you have time, sir, I would like to address some of the things you appear to believe, with which I do not agree, pertaining to the end times.

    God Bless you. Charlie.

    Bro Charlie,

Yes, I do believe every word of the Bible (though correct undersanding is sometimes difficult).

    - - I really don't understand what you are getting at with this question, but I believe God made man in his image (male & female) on the sixth creation day, because that's what it says in Gen. ch.1:27. No problem there right? - - Then I think Gen. ch.2 contains a re-cap of the creation account of man (on the 6th day)... and before God made man there was "no man to till the ground" (of course), and then it says God created man from the dust of the ground (Gen.2:7). -- Also no problem, because this is a re-telling of the creation of man (which happened on the 6th day), but with some different details added.

And then, yes, as near as I can tell, Christ will reign in Jerusalem over Israel (as well as the rest of the resurrected Church, and over the still unsaved "nations") during the millennium. This seems to be the case, because when Christ comes at the 2nd Coming he will "touch down" on the Mt. of Olives, according to Acts 1:11 and Zechariah 14:4. - Zech 14:5 says this is the time when the "Lord God will come with all his holy ones" (the saints), ...and "the Lord will be king over the whole earth" (Zech. 14:9). And then after that, year after year, people will be required to go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord Almighty (Zech. 14:16). --- Yep. I believe just as the Bible says.

As far as ruling "from heaven," I don't find a scripture that says Jesus returns to heaven after he has touched down on earth at the 2nd Coming. Do you find one? It's not a matter of what is "likely," but what the Bible says.

Blessigns my freind, - Pastor Totten

Pastor Rhett -- Yes, I do believe every word of the Bible (though correct undersanding is sometimes difficult).

Charlie -- Since you believe every word of the Bible, Sir, you must believe God rested on the 7th day and it was not until after God rested on the 7th day that we are told there was not a man to till the ground. The males and females of the sixth day were told to be fruitful and multiply and 'replenish' the earth, not to till the ground.

The, after God made Adam and breathed in Adam the breath of life, God made a garden, 'eastward in Eden'. That garden is till 'eastward in Eden, Sir, but no one has access to it.

As to details. The details of Adam naming all the animals but not finding a mate suitable for Adam is not a detail that I can fit in with the making of males and females on the sixth day.

I submit, Sir, that your acceptance of the first part of Genesis 2 as a 'recap' of the 6th day leaves a lot to be desired.

There is also the matter of a wife for Cain and the questions raised by the Sons of God going in unto the daughters of men. Adam was a Son of God for God made Adam and breathed in Adam the breath of life. The males and females of the 6th day were not in that category but, in obeying the intruction given by God, they would have given birth to sons and daughters in the course of replenishing the earth.

Pastor Rhett -- Pastor Rhett -- And then, yes, as near as I can tell, Christ will reign in Jerusalem over Israel (as well as the rest of the resurrected Church, and over the still unsaved "nations") during the millennium. Charlie -- Jeremiah 30:8-9, I believe, refers to the 1,000 years and states

For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him: but they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.

Charlie -- David will be the King of the Jews during the 1,000 years, according to this scripture, Sir, not Jesus, the LORD their God. Him will they worship in the millennial temple but Jesus will not be on earth. He will be King of World, with all the nations of the world under His rule, not from Jerusalem, but from heaven with the help of those who will have been given incorruptible bodies.

Those are my thoughts,. Sir, respectfully submitted for your consideration.

    God Bless you. Charlie.
